The National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) has commended the Federal Government for renewing the funding of Australia's cultural institutions, which it says will "turbocharge" discoverability and access to national collection.
The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) will be able to double its video and audio digitisation efforts after the Federal Government announced an additional $41.9 million in funding for the institution across the next four years.
The videotape holdings of the NLA are to be preserved and digitised by DAMsmart
