The Project Factory establishes advisory board

Transmedia company The Project Factory has appointed three digital media, technology and marketing experts to its inaugural advisory board.

The new board comprises PricewaterhouseCoopers executive director Megan Brownlow, former vice president, digital economy, at Alcatel-Lucent Australia, Geof Heydon, and branded business development executive John Cookson.

They will help develop The Project Factory's global strategy as the company continues to target international clients, according to The Project Factory director Jennifer Wilson.

“As we move into our next phase of growth internationally, our new board will provide invaluable guidance on strategies to maximize the value of our content, entertainment projects and IP as well as helping align our future agenda and development as the industry."

Brownlow has over 20 years experience in media ranging from producing Enough Rope with Andrew Denton to working with the Nine Network, eCorp and PBL. She is also the editor of the annual industry forecasting bible, PWC’s Entertainment & Media Outlook. Heydon is a futurist and engineer and was one of the pioneers of Australia's telecommunications industry and digital economy. Cookson is CEO and founder of SalesandMarketing.com.au and has also created and sold a number of start-ups.

The Project Factory was established in 2005 and creates transmedia entertainment across web, mobile, social media and games platforms. Some of its recent projects can be found here.
