After writer/director Erin Good made the 2017 web series Jade of Death, about a small-town girl who has a powerful ability to see when and how people will die, there was one piece of feedback that stayed with her.
“I remember a girl came up to me at a festival and said, ‘I love Jade of Death – it’s as if a woman made Buffy‘,” she said.
“That was the biggest compliment for me.”
