Gadens Feature Film Script Qld Literary Awards — OPEN TO ALL AUSTRALIAN Screenplays of an Australian Feature Film. This award is given to the author of a feature length film script (including feature length documentaries).
Eligible scripts must have first entered production, with principal photography initiated, or have completed production, between 6 May 2012 and 24 May 2013.
It is not necessary for the production to have been publicly screened in that time.
Scripts submitted must be in English although the film script itself may also feature other languages for which simultaneous translations are provided.
It is intended that the award will be given primarily on the assessment of the literary merit of the work and not necessarily on the merit of the resulting film.
Scripts may be nominated by writers, agents, film distributors, or production companies.
The 2013 Queensland Literary Awards is proud to include the Gadens Feature Film Script Award category in its suite of Awards.
Nominations are invited for feature film scripts completed from 6 May 2012 to 24 May 2013.
The winner will receive a $5000 prize.
The deadline for nominations has been extended to Friday 7 June 2013.
