New $233.5m WA production facility named ‘Perth Film Studios’, to be managed by Home Fire

Western Australia’s new $233.5 million screen production facility has been named Perth Film Studios and will be managed by local company Home Fire for a minimum 10-year term.

The new facility is currently being constructed by Home Fire and is expected open for productions from early-2026. The WA government will own Perth Film Studios (via the Arts and Culture Trust) and has an option to renew the contract with Home Fire for a further three 10-year periods.
