Seven Productions has secured a major commission in the US market with the greenlight of 12 x 1 hours for The Travel Channel.
The series, entitled Boy to Man, follows adventurer and filmmaker Tim Noonan as he embarks on a lone journey to try and discover what it means to be the ultimate man.
Throughout the series, Noonan travels the world, stopping in places such as Siberia to join the reindeer people, the Nenets, goes native learning how to climb coconut trees in Guinea Bissau and trains a golden eagle with Kazakh men in Mongolia.
Armed only with his gear and cameras, he must earn the trust of each culture and then is put through a number of rituals, initiations and tests in order to prove himself worthy of each tribe’s respect.
