All Interactive Entertainment joins the theatrical circus

All Interactive Entertainment (AIE), a division of All Interactive Distribution (AID), is now launching their inaugural slate of theatrical releases. Established in 1994, AID are wholesale suppliers of DVDs, interactive software, hardware and related products. The appointment of Kim Berwick as Film Sales and Acquisition Manager sees the formation of All Interactive Entertainment and a new entrant on the theatrical circuit.  AIE’s first slate of theatrical titles includes Delirious, Canvas and Interview.
 
Delirious – 1st November – limited national release, MA15+ Strong coarse language
Starring Steve Buscemi, Gina Gershon, Michael Pitt and Alison Lohman

Delirious is the story of Toby Grace (played by Michael Pitt) who, homeless in NYC, finds himself assisting paparazzi photographer, Les Galantine (Steve Buscemi) in exchange for a roof over his head and legitimacy (a real job). Les and Toby, are two guys trying to make their way in the world, an aspiring photographer and actor who find themselves taking refuge in each other’s company when they have no one else to go to. Things go sour when Les defies Toby’s trust and inadvertently ends Toby’s budding relationship with K’harma (played by Alison Lohman).

Ten year old Chris Marino lives in a blue-collar beach town where he can often be found fishing at the waters edge. His father John (Emmy Award Winner Joe Pantoliano), is a carpenter and his mother Mary (Academy Award Winner Marcia Gay Harden), suffers from schizophrenia and paints her dreams onto canvas. When Mary’s illness leads her to violence and endangers the entire family, John has no choice but to hospitalize the woman he loves. Unable to cope with his wife’s illness, John immerses himself day and night building a sailboat from scratch, neglecting his son and his job. The film traces the family’s journey, from struggling to cope, to learning to accept and ultimately coming closer together through love.

Interview is a tribute to late controversial international filmmaker Theo Van Gogh This film is one of three of Van Gogh’s films which will be remade in English starring Hollywood actors. Self destructive journalist, Pierre Peders (Buscemi) is no stranger to violence and inhumanity. Having made his name as a war reporter he has traveled the world seeing some of the most horrifying sights imaginable. So it’s no surprise that he is upset when he’s demoted to interviewing America’s most famous pop star Katya (Miller). The two meet and instantly it’s a collision of two worlds.  But perhaps not is all as it appears.
