Commenting on the accolades, Peter Jenetsky, General Manager, Marketing & Content Strategy forMovie Network Channels said:

‘To achieve such a great result at Promax/BDA ANZ caps off what has been a highly successful year across our group of channels. Movie Extra’s very stylish “Movies That Matter” campaign has been a stunning success here and internationally at Promax. This weekend’s 5 wins for the campaign are added to the 3 collected in June at the PROMAX/BDA World Gold Awards in New York.’

‘MNC’s 4 additional wins include one for another Movie Extra campaign: the launching of Project Greenlight.

‘The multiple wins for Extra are particularly gratifying. Eighteen months ago we relaunched this channel on bold and distinctively different programming, marketing and branding strategies. It has now evolved into a destination channel for event television, and boasts a slate of outstanding original drama programs; the best of independent and arthouse films; feature documentaries and movie favourites. Extra has truly emerged as a very ‘different’ style of channel – and one that others are sure to try and replicate.’

Scoring further wins for MNC was Movie ONE’s world-first interactive feature ‘redspace™’ and a highly successful retail sales advertising campaign for the MNC package.

‘Congratulations to our Creative, Production and Marketing teams at MNC who constantly strive for and deliver exceptional work, day in and day out for our channels. Working hand in glove with our teams on these projects, are another group of immensely talented people, from Tactic Creative Services, Plasma, Cornerpost and Foxtel Active,’ said Jenetsky.
