The Curious Case of Benjamin Button did well, as expected, winning the following nominations:
* Best Achievement in Make-up for the work done by Greg Cannom
* Best Achievement in Visual Effects for the work done by Eric Barba, Steve Preeg, Burt Dalton and Craig Barron
* Best Achievement in Art Direction for the work done by Donald Graham Burt, Victor J. Zolfo
The Duchess won the Oscar for the best Achievement in Costume Design.
WALL-E won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film of the year.
