Maddfilms is pleased to announce that Carl Robertson has been awarded Best Cinematography for his work on Death’s Requiem at the 7th Annual Shriek Fest in Los Angeles, held at Raleigh Studios over the past weekend. Director Marc Furmie was on hand to collect the award on Carl’s behalf. This compliments his award at St Kilda earlier this year.
Our thanks go out to Panavision, Kodak, Neg Lab and the Lab for their help in achieving the look, along with all the crew for their dedication and the Australian Film Commission for giving us the opportunity.
The next screening will once again be in Los Angeles at the prestigious Egyptian Theatre as part of the Academy accredited ARPA festival. The screening schedule has not yet been announced however the dates are November 2-4 which coincides with the American Film Market.
For updates please see http://www.affma.org/events/3.events.htm their web site. Actor Jai Koutrae will be on hand to represent the film at that screening as he has now moved to Los Angeles to pursue opportunities that arose from the Best Actor prize he received at this year’s Method Fest.
