Critically acclaimed worldwide In the Shadow of the Palms – Iraq has been Officially Selected to over 60 International Film Festivals. The film has recently received Official Selection to The Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Armenia, the highly regarded Tri-Continental Film Festival held in Johannesburg, and the 2nd International Film Festival of Mexico City.
Award Winning drama and documentary film-maker Wayne Coles-Janess was personally invited to the prestigious Golden Apricot International Film Festival by Chairman of the festival Atom Egoyan. Egoyan is the acclaimed internationally award winning film-maker of The Sweet Hereafter who has won numerous awards from Cannes Film Festival to the Academy Awards.
