Clubland continues to win international acclaim with the news that the film has won the Audience Award the recent St Tropez Film Festival – The Rencontres Internationales du Cinéma des Antipodes.
Clubland will be released in France in 2008.
The announcement follows Clubland‘s three IF Award nominations for Brenda Blethyn (Best Lead Actress), Nell Hanson (Best Production Design) and Liam Egan, Ian McLoughlin, Andrew Neil & Steven Jackson Vaughan for Best Sound.
‘Clubland has been received enthusiastically by European audiences with its recent release in the UK. It is pleasing that French audiences have also responded warmly to the film,’ said producer Rosemary Blight.
