The 2010 SCREEN MUSIC AWARDS will be held at BMW Edge in Melbourne on Tuesday 9 November. The music industry's annual celebration of excellence in the composition of music for film and television is presented by APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) and the AGSC (Australian Guild of Screen Composers).
Acknowledging music composers across 12 categories representing feature films, children's television, advertising, documentaries, short films and
everything in between, the SCREEN MUSIC AWARDS hold a unique place on the entertainment calendar, being the only ceremony celebrating the achievements of Australian screen composers.
The incomparable composer PAUL GRABOWSKY, returns for the fifth year, to conduct a live orchestra performing a selection of this year's nominated
compositions. Paul Grabowsky will also direct musical proceedings for the 2010 SCREEN MUSIC AWARDS.
THE CHASER'S CHRIS TAYLOR and ANDREW HANSEN will host the event.
