These selected filmmakers will pitch their project, their slate and themselves, to a panel of screen professionals and an audience [including you] at the NSW competition on 08 Sep at Metro Screen.

Lisa Gray – Head of Content, The Feds
Nerida Moore – Senior Development and Production Executive, Screen NSW
David Opitz – Projects and Productions Manager, Metro Screen
Louise Smith – Producer, Film Depot and Metro Screen Board Member
The winner of the NSW Competition will then battle it out with the winners from all other states at The National Pitch in October. The winner of The National Pitch will then represent Australia at the MPA CICE Film Workshop in Beijing, and gain the chance to fast track their next feature project. 

The Motion Picture Association [MPA] Asia Pacific has partnered with the China International Copyright Expo [CICE] to host the MPA CICE Film Workshop in Beijing this December. Only one Australian will participate in this unique opportunity. To get there they need to win The National Pitch 2011 brought to you by Screen Development Australia [SDA]. In order to compete in The National Pitch applicants must first win their state-based competition.

6:00 – 6:30 – pre-drinks and general networking
6:30 – 7:30 – pitches and Q+A
7:30 – 8:00 – Winner announced
