Jolene Anderson.
Former All Saints and Home and Away star Jolene Anderson is playing a key role in the second series of Hoodlum Entertainment’s Harrow, which is now shooting in Brisbane.
Ioan Gruffudd returns as the brilliant but flawed forensic pathologist Dr Daniel Harrow in the show created by Stephen Irwin and Leigh McGrath, alongside Robyn Malcolm, Darren Gilshenan, Hunter Page-Lochard, Ella Newton, Damien Garvey and Anna Lise Phillips. Missing is Mirrah Foulkes, who played Soraya Dass, Harrow’s love interest, in the first series.
Anderson is Harrow’s new colleague, a forensic pathologist named Grace, in the crime drama commissioned by the ABC and ABC Studios International.
Catherine Millar, Peter Andrikidis, Grant Brown, Geoff Bennett and Declan Eames are directing the 10-episode series scripted by Irwin, McGrath and Michaeley O’Brien and produced by Tracey Robertson and Nathan Mayfield.
After his near-fatal shooting in the last episode, Harrow is determined to piece together the puzzle of who wanted him dead and why. Friends and family urge him to rest but he cannot.
Complications build as Harrow follows leads and bends the rules, only to bump up against dangerous dead-ends in his hunt for his antagonist.
Screen Queensland estimates the production will spend more than $17.3 million on Queensland jobs, goods and services and employ 273 crew, 75 cast and 800 extras across production, post-production and visual effects.
Disney Media Distribution sold the show to the US streaming service Hulu and to the UKTV’s Alibi channel in the UK.
Anderson stars as a police sergeant who fights to protect her family in The Dust Walker, writer-director Sandra Sciberras’ futuristic sci-fi thriller which was filmed earlier this year in Western Australia.
Her other recent screen credits include Heath Davis’ Book Week and Prey, a Blumhouse-produced horror-thriller directed by Franck Khalfoun.
