Film and TV sales, finance and production house, High Point Media Group, have announced the appointment of producer and writer, Adam Bowen, to head up its Sydney based operation, sourcing Australian and New Zealand projects. He will be working closely with High Point Head of Productions and Acquisitions, Carl Simons, and Head of Development, Piers Nightingale.
Adam Bowen began his career in film editing in London, and went on to work as a TV reporter, director and writer/performer. His scripting in Australian TV drama led to work as script supervisor on drama serials around Europe. Adam went on to co-create Italy’s first and still running prime time drama, Un Posto Al Sole. He has also written for children’s TV drama, notably the multi-award winning, Mortified. Recently, Adam co-created co-wrote and co-produced the comedy drama series, Kick, which High Point is selling internationally.
‘It’s a great asset to have Adam on board the High Point’, High Point’s Carey Fitzgerald said. ‘His vast experiences and connections in Australia and New Zealand, as well as his expertise as a producer and writer, will help strengthen, consolidate and expand our visibility in that part of the world.’
