Jennifer Collins says “I’ve had a terrific three years leading the factual arm and ensuring ABC TV is delivering a vibrant and contemporary factual slate. However, I am thrilled to be working again in the entertainment area, and look forward to working with the best of Australia’s entertainment producers and presenters as well as seeking out and developing the next generation of talent”.

Kim Dalton, Director of Television said “Strong, intelligent and thought-provoking entertainment programming is core to ABC TV’s schedule. We also work with and have supported the development of some of Australia’s leading entertainment talent.

“Jennifer brings to this role a successful background and strong connections with this sector along with an impressive track record in spotting new talent and new ideas.”

In her new role as Head of Entertainment, Jennifer will retain responsibility for ABC TV programs such as Q&A, Poh’s Kitchen, Gardening Australia, Auction Room as well as ABC TV’s Sport and Events programs.

In the interim Alan Erson, Head of Documentaries, will take over the responsibility for the factual strands of Catalyst and Compass and the factual initiatives in Western Australia and South Australia.
