Australia kid-co Sticky Pictures and Canadian animation studio Nelvana Studios have kicked off production on the new animated K6-11 comedy series Pearlie (52×12).
Pearlie is the tale of a glamorous, pint-sized fairy who is the official caretaker of downtown Jubilee Park. The series is based on the top selling children’s book series Pearlie the Park Fairy by Australian comedienne, journalist and radio personality Wendy Harmer.
Pearlie is a co-production between Sticky Pictures and Nelvana for Australia’s Network Ten and YTV in Canada with delivery in 2009.
