Australian shorts at Sundance finish on a honourable note

The Sundance Film Festival has concluded its 2008 program and the Australian Film Commission (AFC) congratulates Australian filmmaker Nash Edgerton on receiving an honourable mention during the Festival’s closing Awards Ceremony.

Nash Edgerton’s short, Spider, was one of the five short films selected from Australia to screen as part of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. The festival’s shorts line up presented 84 films with Nash being one of seven filmmakers from around the world to receive a Honourable Mention in Short Filmmaking.

Spider is the fourth short film directed by Nash Edgerton that has screened at Sundance since 2000. It has had much success both domestically and internationally with screenings at numerous film festivals including Telluride, Prague, Cork, Sydney and Melbourne.
