With the highly anticipated release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens not too far, far away on Thursday 17 December, Village Cinemas has fans covered with the ultimate fan event at its Knox location for the midnight screenings. Guests are encouraged to come dressed up in their favourite costumes with official The Force Awakens merchandise up for grabs on the night.
Teaming up with Disney, FOX FM and the longest running Star Wars fan club in the world ‘Star Walking Inc.’ the evening will include pre-show entertainment including a themed photo booth and costume parade organised by Star Walking Inc. Director Chris Brennan. Fans will enjoy Star Wars: The Force Awakens standees with almost lifelike Storm Trooper statues! To round off the night, guests can enjoy live music and an event host provided by FOX FM.
For those who have already secured tickets to other Village Cinemas locations, not to worry as fans can still get involved via social media and by using the #TheForceAwakensAtVillage with more official merchandise packs available for best dressed. Instagram and Facebook posts will then be displayed LIVE on Village Cinemas digital posters and on screen before the film commences!
