Australian cinematographers Ben Nott ACS and Peter Levy ACS ASC have both been nominated as outstanding cinematographers in two categories for the upcoming 60th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 21, to be held in Los Angeles.
Ben Nott ACS has been nominated for the Outstanding Cinematography For A Miniseries Or Movie category for his work on The Company, for producers Ridley & Tony Scott. Nott was also recognised for his work on the same production when he was presented the Golden Tripod and the coveted Milli Award as Cinematographer of the Year at the ACS50 in Sydney, June this year. He was recently in Australia filming Andrew Lancaster’s Accidents Happen.
While the Sydney-born Peter Levy ACS, ASC has been nominated for the Outstanding Cinematography For A Half-hour Series category for his work on the Showtime production, Californication, which stars David Duchovny. Levy was also a recipient of the ACS Milli Award in 1991 for his work on Predator 2.
