20-year-old Carly Cheung and 21-year-old Ben Steenson are final year Visual Communication students at Sydney's Raffles College of Design and Commerce.

The pair recently attended a Character and Animation Masterclass conducted by Pixar Animation's Andrew Gordon and Chris Sasaki.

The masterclass involved a three-day series of lectures on animation and character design.

Cheung’s work has been featured on the poster for Australian short film The Witching Hour, while Steenson is the lead programmer on new multiplayer driving game Autoworld.

“I feel so honoured to have my poster touring with the film throughout the US, Canada, Spain and Mexico over the past 12 months,” said Cheung.

Steenson developed Autoworld with programmers from around the world.

“The Autoworld team consists of budding digital artists and programmers from America, Brazil and Australia, with goals to fund the game via Kickstarter in the near future", he said.

"The game aims to deliver a highly customisable driving experience, where users can connect with one another to race or to simply drive together.”

Raffles' Digital Media and Visual Arts HOD Alan Chen said that the college was "very proud of their achievements and [we] have no doubt in them having a stellar career in the digital industry".
