All This Mayhem set to expand

Following box-office success in Sydney and Melbourne, Entertainment One is pleased to announce the cinema expansion of All This Mayhem.

From August, audiences in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra will have the opportunity to experience this adrenalin-fuelled and unforgettable Australian documentary for themselves.

Directed by Eddie Martin (Lionel) and from the makers of award-winning documentaries Senna and Exit Through the Gift Shop, All This Mayhem released July 11th at Dendy Newtown Sydney and Cinema Nova Melbourne. It delivered the highest screen average in the country for its opening weekend of $11,984, followed by a decrease of just 12% in its second week.

Australian critics have praised All This Mayhem; Sydney Morning Herald calling it “a completely absorbing film” (Paul Byrnes, 4 stars) and At The Movies stating, “every frame is in the right place” (Jason di Rosso, 4 stars).

Following its World Premiere at 2013’s Adelaide Film Festival, All This Mayhem screened in Documentary Competition at this years Sydney Film Festival. Internationally it premiered at UK's BFI at Southbank, followed by a Special Jury Award slot at Sheffield Doc/Fest, in June 2014, and will release in UK cinemas 8th August 2014. It will release on DVD in Australia and Digital HD globally on September 10.

All This Mayhem tells the story of Tas and Ben Pappas, brothers from Melbourne who took the skateboarding world by storm, defeating Tony Hawk and crowned World Champions (#1 and #2) within a year. Skateboarding came naturally, but success was a different story.

In this unflinching, never-before-seen account we witness the dark consequences of Tas and Ben’s rapid success, their intense bond and journey from the pinnacle of their sport into devastating self-destruction. Featuring fascinating interviews, first person accounts and archival footage, All This Mayhem is a searing portrait of what happens when raw talent and extreme personalities collide.
