The PXW-Z90V 4K HDR XDCAM camcorder offers many new features including high speed autofocus and HDR capabilities in a compact, palm-style body. Suitable for corporate events, broadcast news, and television production, the PXW-Z90V camcorder features a stacked 1″ Exmor RS CMOS sensor, a 12x Zeiss optical zoom, an OLED viewfinder, and 3.5″ touchscreen LCD monitor. Enhanced Fast Hybrid auto focus with up to 273 reference points covering approximately 84% of the image area, face detection and lock-on auto focus technology to estimate subject movement to capture fast-moving subjects with amazing sharpness.
Slow motion record with up to 120 frames per second in full HD, turns everyday action into slow motion ballet. The PXW-Z90V can record 4K in XAVC Long at 4:2:0, HD in XAVC Long at 4:2:2 10-bit, as well as MPEG HD at 4:2:2 (requires optional license key). S-Log3/S-Gamut3 functions offer users additional image control and an Instant HDR workflow is enabled with the Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) recording feature.

Dual XLR inputs allow for simple connection and monitoring of audio. There are dedicated physical audio level controls to allow quick adjustments without having to access a menu system. To extend recording time and workflow flexibility, the PXW-Z90 is equipped with two memory card slots and is compatible with SDXC and SDHC cards.
The PXW-Z90V is a highly flexible camera that can be used in a wide range of situations as a primary or secondary camera.
