Entries are now open for Village Roadshow and Animal Logic’s annual LA-based internship.
The three month internship, worth $20,000, gives one person the opportunity to work in the companies’ Hollywood offices and to learn about film financing, marketing, and development.
Administered by Australians in Film, the position is open to any Australian undergraduate or recent business grad who demonstrates potential and has film industry ambitions. Living and travel expenses are covered.
Village Roadshow Entertianment Group CEO said: “We are proud to be able to expose some of Australia’s brightest talent to an internship program that has shaped some of the world’s greatest emerging filmmakers.”
Animal Logic CEO Zareh Nalbandian said internships were an essential part of the film industry.
“They not only provide unparalleled opportunities for young talent, they also ensure we as producers are able to support emerging film practitioners, giving firsthand experience in an industry that is highly competitive and increasingly internationally focused.”
Applications close on September 5 at 5PM PDT in Los Angeles.
