An award-winning feature film and television director, Podeswa has been nominated three times for the Emmy Award for Best Director, Dramatic Series for HBO’s Boardwalk Empire(“Anastasia”) and Game of Thrones (“Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken”), and for Best Director, Movie or Mini-Series for HBO’s The Pacific (for which he was also nominated for the Directors Guild of America Award).
