Carmilla Hyde was named Best Feature at the recent South Australian Screen Awards following two awards at last year’s Melbourne Underground Film Festival for Best Guerrilla Film and Best Supporting Actress for Georgii Speakman. It is set to play in festivals this year including the International Film Festival South Africa 2010, International Film Festival Thailand, Heart of England International Film Festival and the International Film Festival Ireland.
Carmilla Hyde is a Jekyll and Hyde revenge thriller about Millie (Anni Lindner), a shy introverted virgin, who is drugged and seduced by her housemates. Awaking without any memory, Millie is confronted by internet sex tapes of her night of wanton passion. Humiliated and confused, she turns to hypnotist Dr. Webster, and her memories are set free.
