Applications for the 2009 Kit Denton Fellowship must be received by 5pm next Friday 15 May
The purpose of the Kit Denton Fellowship is to promote courage, to champion bold and challenging ideas and to reward talent and excellence in performance writing.
A fellowship of $25,000 will be awarded to the selected writer allowing them to further develop a current project over six to eight months to be ready to present to the market.
If you are nominating yourself you will need to submit:
• A 2 page (max.) narrative telling the story of your work: explaining how courage has been part of your work; how it has influenced your project; the nature of the project and how you would develop it with this Fellowship.
• A one page CV
If you are nominating a writer please submit:
• 1 page (max) of information on the writer you are nominating and their project as well as their contact details. If the nomination is accepted the AWG will contact the nominee and they will then need to provide the information above.
PLEASE NOTE:
Anything longer than the 2 page narrative or 1 page of information and the 1 page CV will not be presented to the judges.
