Jaunt is making its Jaunt ONE VR camera available to the public for the first time ever.
Since debuting the camera in late 2015, Jaunt has worked directly with brands like ABC News in the States, and producers like Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) and Tony Kaye (American History X) to produce VR content.
Starting next month, Jaunt's ONE camera will be available for rent via the Radiant Images website and rental house, giving everyonefrom rising creatives to established brands the opportunity to shoot with the highest quality professional grade stereoscopic VR camera designed with visionary VR creators in mind. The J1-24G model features 24 global shutter sensors ideal for low-light and fast moving objects, and the setup is coupled with 360° ambisonic audio recordings which can be mixed with Dolby ATMOS in post.

After capturing stunning omnidirectional video and audio with Jaunt ONE, visionaries can also edit and process their data in the cloud using JCS, Jaunt’s proprietary tools and algorithms which transform footage into the highest quality of immersive content. With everything from editing and colorncorrection, to CG and compositing, the Jaunt ONE camera and accompanying JCS software equips visionaries and storytellers with everything they need to bring their stories to life.
Once the content is complete, creators can publish and distribute directly to their audiences, on any platform that supports 360° video, including the Jaunt VR App. Whether they have an established fan base or are just starting to grow a following, Jaunt deep links allow audiences worldwide to dive directlyninto the experience, regardless of device or platform, without having to search for it.
