Metro Screen claims St Kilda shorts

Metro Screen has announced that 10 of the top 100 Australian shorts shown at the recent St Kilda Festival were made by Metro Screen attendees, including the short that won Best Comedy.

“This years St Kilda Film Festival programmed 11 Metro Screen Films. Five from our Multicultural Mentorship, Lester Bostock Indigenous Mentorship and Raw Nerve schemes, one form our Documentary Scholarship course and five form our tutors,” Metro Screen announced.
 
Don’t Panic from our Raw Nerve scheme made by first time filmmaker Luci Temple won this years Comedy Award at the festival and Metro Screen tutor Renata Bliss’s project for Goyte screened during SoundKilda.”
 
“Congratulations to our filmmakers and their teams whose works screened in front of applauding audiences at this years St Kilda Film Festival.”
