Morocco shoot for young Aussie director

Kane Christopher, the young Australian multi-award winning director/producer who is quickly turning heads in the motion picture industry across the globe has yet again blown the minds of his audience.

The 20 year old has now covered five of the seven continents of the world for his work, recently returning from the epic shoot of a new music video which took him to Morocco in North-West Africa.
Recently back in Sydney, Kane tells us of his adventure and taste of the middle east;
“I directed this video for Phil Stormer, a young and extremely gifted guitarist who I also manage and represent. His beautiful and emotive music influenced me to take this video to Morocco,” he said.
“I wanted to shine a positive light on these middle-eastern countries, it’s so cliche for us to put a negative spin on Arab nations. One thing I have learned in my travels is this; the simple things in life are often the best things in life, and the people in these nations are a testimony to that. I wanted to reflect this thought in Phil’s video.’
The music video titled ‘Charmer’ which was shot over the span of 4 days in some of the most remote locations in the globe Premieres on June 21 on YouTube and www.kanechristopher.com
With a number of music videos and commercials in development, talent management, producing a new children’s TV series, three feature films, a feature length documentary, an epic sports film being produced in New Zealand, and developing two new businesses, it’s no wonder Kane’s schedule is incredibly busy.
With rumours of collaboration with media giant MTV Networks, it could be said the world has never seen someone so young achieve such incredible heights in the field of directing and producing in the motion picture business.
“Being so young in this rough industry is not easy, I tend to get snubbed a lot, but you have to push through with determination and support from friends and family,” he said.
“Ean Thorley (Executive Producer, MTV Networks Australia) and Michael Selwyn (Managing Director, Paramount Pictures Australia) are two legends in my mind, these guys recognised my passion in it’s infancy, and have been nothing but a positive force behind me – The key is to keep positive and passionate.”
