Aspen Shortsfest has concluded its 2008 program, and the AFC congratulates Australian filmmaker Nash Edgerton on receiving two awards for his short film Spider – Best Comedy and the Hard C High-Five to Lo-Fi Award.
Spider was one of two short films from Australia selected to screen as part of the International Competition at Aspen this year.

The film has had much success both domestically and internationally, with screenings at numerous festivals including Telluride, Prague, Cork, Sydney and Melbourne.
It also screened at the Sundance Film Festival this year where Nash received an Honourable Mention in Short Filmmaking.
