Pearl Jam is one of the world's biggest bands and has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide.
This new documentary, Pearl Jam Twenty, chronicles the years leading up to the band’s formation, the chaos that ensued after their rise to mega-stardom, their step back from centre stage and the creation of a trusted circle that would surround them.
With bold colours and blistering sound, the film is carved from over 1200 hours of rarely and never-before seen footage spanning the band’s 20-year career.
Their big screen event Pearl Jam Twenty comes to selected Event Cinemas, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle cinemas and will coincide with them recording their 10th studio album.
Screenings of this definitive portrait of the band as told by Academy Award-winning filmmaker and music journalist, Cameron Crowe, will be held for one night only on September 20.
