The Pacific Film and Television Commission is offering up to $50,000 to assist with the creation of feature film projects through the New Screen Production Fund.
The scheme also offers production investment for documentaries, short dramas, pilots, trailers, test scenes and animation projects.
Applications will be accepted from producers with projects intended for delivery to audiences via film festivals, YouTube, Vimeo, the applicant’s own website and/or broadcasters.
The New Screen Production Fund was created to provide career development opportunities for screen practitioners by providing investment in projects that are difficult to finance in the commercial marketplace.
At least one of the projects selected will have an Indigenous writer and director.
Applications to the New Screen Production Fund close on Monday 12 May 2008.
