Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Lake as the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) effective 13 December 2010. Established in December 2009, Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios is a collaboration between Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”) and Pinewood Shepperton plc (“Pinewood”) to undertake the development of a world class media production facility in Iskandar
Malaysia.
Lake, who previously served as the President of Warner Roadshow Studios in Australia for 17 years, brings a wealth of experience in international film and television production. He was also formerly the President of WWE Films Inc. and Executive Vice President World Wide Feature Production for Village Roadshow Pictures Entertainment Inc.

The construction of this state-of-the-art facility adjacent to Singapore is truly exciting for the film and television production industries in Asia.
