Reshot film act still a ‘disaster’

By Michael Bodey for The Australian: The federal Government has announced more amendments to its $282.9 million Australian screen production incentive package after complaints from film and television producers. But the main fear of independent TV producers has been realised, with the Government confirming free-to-air broadcasters Seven, Nine and Ten will be allowed access to the Production Offset rebate earmarked to encourage independent production and businesses.
