Michelle Rowland MP, the Shadow Minister for Communications and Federal Member for Greenway will give the keynote presentation at the upcoming SMPTE17 Conference. Staged by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers Australia Section, the biennial Conference will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Darling Harbour, Sydney from July 18 to 20. Attendees are expected from a broad range of roles across the broadcast, media and entertainment technology industries.
The Shadow Minister’s address will discuss current issues in the media and communications ecosystem, and the need for principles-based and evidence-informed policy for transition to the future, including:

The keynote address for the SMPTE17 Conference takes place at 11.30am on Tuesday 18 July.
