Sony goes Beyond Definition at SMPTE 2017

SYDNEY, 7 July 2017 – Sony Australia will showcase a variety of products for video and audio professional production applications at SMPTE 2017. These include broadcast television, motion picture, live event production, ENG/EFP, digital cinematography and robotic camera applications.
On display will be a comprehensive line-up of cameras from the industry-leading high frame rate Super35-based HDC-4800 through to the new α9 compact camera and lenses. There will also be displays highlighting HDR imagery capture, workflow and display.
As the industry moves towards an IP-based infrastructure for live production Sony has a complete line up of cameras, switchers and servers. Designed for smaller productions or education faculties Sony will also be showing a new compact switcher solution for simple operation and integration.
For news production there will be a complete package solution on display that has recently been implemented in the Australian market taking advantage of internet contribution and cloud-based distribution.
In addition to live and post produced content Sony will also be showing a new asset management system based on open industry standards. This is designed for small to medium sized enterprises and can be scaled as required.
