Following AIDC 2017, director and CEO Andrew Wiseman has announced that he will not seek to renew his position.
The award will be accepted on Beaton’s behalf by his business partner and Artemis MD Celia Tait, and older brother and fellow documentarian John Beaton. The pair will jointly deliver the 2017 Stanley Hawes Oration.
Producing and directing for over twenty-five years, Wiseman’s long list of credits includes 'Kokoda' (2010), 'My Brother Jack' (2001), 'After the Deluge'' (2003), 'Curtin' (2007), and 'Waiting at the Royal' (2000). Most recently he directed documentary
