December Media and natural history producer BioPixel are joining forces to develop and produce three 3D giant screen/IMAX films.
Screen Queensland has announced 11 companies to share in just under $1 million in funding, designed to help their businesses pivot and diversify through the pandemic.
A location has been confirmed for Screen Queensland’s new production facility in Far North Queensland, with the studio to be built on a 6,500 square metre building site just outside the Cairns CBD.
North and Far North Queensland screen businesses are now eligible to apply for up to $75,000 in funding from the Queensland Government.
Biopixel, Kite Fish Film, Millstream Productions, and Pandamonium Films will each receive up to $75,000 to grow their operations over the next 12 months as part of Screen Queensland's NQ Enterprise funding program.
