John Harvey’s 'Katele (Mudskipper)' has again been crowned Best Australian Short, this time at the Melbourne International Film Festival.
The Melbourne International Film Festival has announced the nominees and juries for the Blackmagic Design Australian Innovation Award and the inaugural First Nations Film Creative Award.
South Australian filmmakers Travis Akbar, Tammy Coleman-Zweck, and Adam Jenkins will receive production grants of up to $45,000 and $10,000 of Panavision film equipment hire for their short film projects as part of the South Australian Film Corporation’s First Nations Short Film Initiative.

Danny and Michael Philippou's debut feature 'Talk to Me' is shaping up to have quite the international festival run, due to make its European premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February.
