The Beaver stars Mel Gibson as Walter Black, a depressed man who finds a beaver hand-puppet which becomes his path to salvation. The film also stars Jodie Foster, who directed the movie.
It follows a difficult year for Gibson has been accused of abusing his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
The film is expected to be released in US cinemas in the spring of 2011.
