The not-for-profit environmental awareness Green Earth Group Inc. is running a short film competition as part of its Green Earth Festival that will take place in Brisbane on Saturday 13th March 2010.
The short film competition helps to raise awareness of Brisbane’s, Queensland’s and beyond creative types; and to give a great platform for their short film creations.
Green Earth Group Inc. is asking filmmakers of all backgrounds and levels of experience to get out there and start shooting short films for the Green Earth Festival. Films can be about anything and be in any genre but must include the Green Earth Festival logo placement somewhere within the film.
The Green Earth Festival is a free, family orientated, community event which aims to stimulate awareness by bringing environmental, green, health and lifestyle, cruelty-free, recycling and sustainable issues into the public eye; encouraging people to make simple changes in their everyday lives to help our environment and the world we leave for generations to come.
Inspiring, informative and educational short films, documentaries and movies will be show throughout the day of the Green Earth Festival, along with winner’s very own short film. Please note that your video/film must be in line with the festival’s goals and objectives.
The Green Earth Group is looking for short films that show creativity and originality. Maximum running time per entry is 10 minutes (including titles and credits) there is no minimum length.
Your short film may be in any genre (comedy, romantic, animation, documentary etc.) All entries must be received by the Sunday January 31st 2010. There is no limit to the number of entries a person/group can enter.
Wherever you reside in the world, you may enter this competition. A selection of short films entries will be screened for viewing early February 2010 with judges and public voting. The winning entry will be shown on the day of the Green Earth Festival. All entries are to be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $10 (per entry)
