MOVIE EXTRA will bring the world's largest short film festival, Tropfest, now in its 20th year, live and exclusive to Subscription TV audiences on Sunday 19. February, 7.30pm (AEDST) on MOVIE EXTRA.
Comedy duo Adam Spencer and Julia Zemiro return as event and broadcast hosts, presenting the 16 finalist films, live celebrity interviews and bringing all the excitement from the festival direct to viewers across the nation.
Audiences won’t miss a moment of the celebrity arrivals, with MOVIE EXTRA hosts Renee Brack and James Tobin capturing all the action LIVE from the red carpet, bringing viewer’s full event commentary and red carpet interviews with filmmakers and VIP guests.
The MOVIE EXTRA Tropfest broadcast will be open to Subscription TV customers* by special arrangement with Foxtel and Austar for a trial period. Tune in and find out who will take out the major prize and be granted the prestigious winner of MOVIE EXTRA Tropfest using this year’s Tropfest Signature Item- Light Bulb.

Viewers can catch all the finalist films again on MOVIE EXTRA with Top of the Trops, each night at 8.15pm (AEDST) from Monday 20 February – Wednesday 29 February, hosted by Renee Brack and featuring interviews with all the finalist filmmakers.
