In a startling expose on how to write comedy the secrets of the comedian will be revealed. What makes us laugh? What are the principles behind a good joke and narrative comedy? And what is it we find so goddamn attractive about those who make us laugh?
Tim Ferguson offers the answers to these age old questions and shows you how to write comedy — simply and effectively —much to the dismay of the
comedy industry.
This is a book for those who want to write for sitcom, movies, stage, standup or anyone who likes a good joke for as Tim says, ‘Everyone laughs, even
Methodists.’
