Network Ten’s Finalists In 2012 UN Media Peace Awards

Matt Doran, Antoinette Lattouf, Hamish Macdonald and Sam Clark have today been announced as finalists in the 2012 United Nations of Australia Media Peace Awards.

TEN News’ Matt Doran is nominated for “Human Trafficking: Australia’s Modern-Day Slave Trade” and Antoinette Lattouf for “Sina’s Story” in the Best TV – News Award category. Hamish Macdonald and Sam Clark are finalists in the Best TV – Current Affairs Award category for “Age of Uncertainty” (The Project).

Network Ten is the only commercial television network to be nominated among the finalists in these prestigious awards.

The UNAA awards promote understanding and awareness about humanitarian and social justice issues by recognising those in the Australian media who stimulate public awareness and policy change.

The winners will be announced at a presentation dinner in Melbourne on October 26.
