Modern Love scores theatrical release

Alex Frayne’s psychodrama Modern Love will commence a season at the Nova Cinema chain in Melbourne, from late November, to run through summer ahead of the film’s DVD release. The Australian Theatrical season is to commence following the world tour which has seen it at 20 film festivals in 5 continents over the last 12 months. The deal was brokered with Nova Programmer Sue Ristovski.
Preceeding the Nova release, the film will screen at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) as part of the ‘Australian Perspectives’ Program, curated by Richard Sowada.
In festival news, the film screened last week at the Salento Film Festival in Italy and will have its Asian prem at the first edition of the Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival, Malaysia, in November.
