Project Officer to the General Manager, Industry Development & Production
The South Australian Film Corporation has a position available for an experienced practitioner who sees working as part of a dynamic team as a valuable step in their career development.
The Project Officer to GM IDP will:
â– Work with the General Manager Industry Development & Production to manage the functioning and delivery of the ID&P initiatives and funding programs.
â– Manage individual funding programs and initiatives (Drama, Documentary & Digital Media) and monitor the performance of the projects, including assessing, evaluating and commenting on projects and providing feedback on development and marketing strategies as well as working with applicants to improve their submissions and provide feedback for on-going development.
â– Provide administrative and executive assistant support to GM IDP including research and preparation of reports, memos and organizing and maintaining an efficient ‘bring forward’ systems.
The successful applicant will be part of a team jointly responsible for the managing, monitoring and on-going development of the South Australian Film Corporation’s programs and projects.
It is expected that applicants will have relevant industry experience either in creative, administrative or hands-on drama, documentary or digital media production. Applicants must possess or be able to attain a sound knowledge of the financing, production and marketing structures of the Australian film, television and interactive media industries.
