AFTRS to run second national industry skills survey

Wendy Gray.

AFTRS is calling for individuals and companies to undertake its second comprehensive industry survey, aimed at identifying training and talent development needs.

The school’s first survey was run in 2016, and identified current and future training needs in areas including business skills/entrepreneurship; creativity and the craft and storytelling; people and team skills; and marketing, social media and new technologies. As a result, AFTRS established new industry certificates, short courses and embedded new content into both its Bachelor and Masters degree programs.

“Our industry changes fast and we want to ensure our courses continue to give the industry the skills it needs to take advantage of the challenges and opportunities that face it,” said AFTRS head of industry Wendy Gray.

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and can be found here: https://www.aftrs.edu.au/about/get-involved/industry-skills-survey/

Participants will go into a draw to win one of several $200 vouchers to use towards AFTRS short courses. All responses are confidential.
