Sydney, 4 June 2014: HOYTS Cinema confirms it will close the doors of its Chadstone Cinema at the conclusion of the last screening on June 10th.
Colonial First State Retail Property Trust Group has announced it is moving ahead with the next exciting step in the evolution of the Chadstone Shopping Centre. The plans call for the demolition of the existing cinema building.
HOYTS new premium cinema experience will feature as part of the $580 million redevelopment of Chadstone. The plans will also see up to 5 international flagships, 40 new retailers and a 1300 seat 26 tenancy food gallery. The current ambition is to have all works complete by Christmas 2016.
While HOYTS Chadstone is renovating there are four HOYTS Cinema locations in close proximity ready to welcome moviegoers with open arms to continue enjoying the latest blockbusters:
• HOYTS Forest Hill
• HOYTS Eastland
• HOYTS Victoria Gardens
• HOYTS Melbourne Central
